21 Life Changing Healthy Habits for 2026
Hello friends,
I want to take a moment to share some encouraging words about change, wellness in our lifestyles, and the importance of building healthy habits.
When you see a butterfly, what comes to mind? Do you admire its vibrant colors, the gracefulness of its flight, or perhaps consider the journey it took to become a butterfly? Remember, the butterfly wasn’t always what it is today. It underwent significant changes and a transformative period while in its cocoon. Similarly, we are always evolving, transforming, and becoming something new.
As it says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, if anyone is in Christ, the old has passed away, and the new has come.
Here are a few ideas on practical steps toward change for the new year!
Step 1: Reflect and Analyze: While doing this, consider all areas of your life!
What has been effective and what hasn’t in your life recently? Which healthy habits have positively impacted you? Are there any areas or habits you wish to change?
Step 2: What do you hope to achieve by the end of 2026?
Examples might include spiritual growth, physical health, financial stability, and overall lifestyle wellness. Do you want to renew any unhealthy mindsets or enhance your relationships? How about improving your safety, work habits, and time management?
Step 3: Make Your 2026 Goals and Healthy Habits List: It can be very beneficial to create a list of priorities as you contemplate your goals and new healthy habits.
How can you adjust your schedule to include these new habits? Do you need to wake up earlier? Perhaps you should rearrange your timetable and even eliminate some activities? Maybe consider setting time limits or removing apps from your phone if you're aiming to enhance your brain health and sleep.
This week, I encourage you to take some time to journal and reflect on the areas where you want to focus on growth and improvement.
Remember, friends, it’s about progress, not perfection.
