MY EVERYDAY LIFE

I live in Portland, Oregon, and truly appreciate the remarkable beauty that this city has to offer. From the many scenic hiking trails to the exceptional coffee culture, there is always something to enjoy. Whether it’s a relaxing day at the beach, an adventurous trip to the nearby mountains, or a peaceful escape to the countryside, all of these wonderful places are just a short drive away from town.

PROFESSIONAL JOURNEY

I have worked in the health care industry for the last 11 years, gaining valuable hands-on experience and insight into patient care and support. Prior to that, I spent 14 years in the mortgage and finance industry, where I developed strong analytical skills and a keen understanding of financial systems. Additionally, I have pursued extensive training and education in Leadership and Ministry from Multnomah University, which has further enriched my ability to lead with integrity and empathy. This combination of professional experience and education has equipped me to serve others with deep compassion, attentive listening, and genuine encouragement.

My Butterfly Story:

A Journey toward Transformation

Let me take a moment to share a little more about my personal butterfly story and heartfelt testimony.

I grew up in a Christian family, deeply involved in various church activities, and was baptized at a young age as a symbol of my faith. Over the years, especially during my college years while living in Las Vegas, I gradually began to drift in a different direction, slowly moving away from God. I was chasing what I believed would be a fulfilling, high-profile life—one filled with money, material possessions, and the glamorous, flashy lifestyle that seemed so appealing at the time.

At the age of 30, while enduring the lowest point in my life due to job and financial loss, and feeling a deep and overwhelming sense of emptiness in my life, my world completely fell apart—I lost my stable and rewarding job, faced serious money troubles, and several important relationships came to an end. Feeling lost, unworthy, and uncertain about the future, I experienced a powerful and unexpected pull to reconnect with God, even though I was scared to pray and hesitant to return to church after such difficult experiences.

Mustering up the courage to reach out for help, I openly expressed my struggles to God and, over time, found myself drawn to a local church I had often passed by but never entered. Much to my surprise, instead of feeling judgment or indifference, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and acceptance, where I began to discover the profound and transformative love of Jesus.

The love I received reminds me of the story Jesus told about the prodigal son. A younger son took his inheritance early and spent it all on parties and a fancy life. Then he lost everything and became broke and desperate, just like I was. With no other choice, he went back home. When his Father saw him, He ran to him, welcomed him with open arms, and celebrated joyfully instead of being angry. (Luke 15:11-32)

This is how Jesus loves us!

Are you feeling lost, unloved, or rejected—maybe even by your own family?
Are you hoping for change, longing to feel loved and accepted?
Whether this is your first time or you’re coming back, Jesus welcomes you with open arms.

He is a loving Father who accepts you just as you are.
Don’t be afraid—come to Him, and you will become His child and part of His family.

This story shows Jesus’ unconditional love for us. If you feel lost, unloved, or rejected, know you are not alone. If you seek acceptance and belonging, whether you are new to God or coming back after a long time, Jesus welcomes you with open arms as a loving and caring Father.

Don't be afraid of rejection; come just as you are, and you will be welcomed as His child and part of His family.

In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will. Ephesians 1:5 NIV.

Today, I hope you will accept His love.

“I pray that God, through His Spirit, gives you strength inside, so Christ lives in your heart through faith. I pray that you, rooted in love, understand how wide, long, high, and deep Christ’s love is—love that is beyond knowledge—and that you are filled with all God’s fullness.”
Ephesians 3:16-21 (NIV)

If you want to receive His love today, pray this:
“Dear Jesus, I ask for forgiveness for my sins. Thank you for dying on the Cross for me. I believe you died for my sins, and I receive you as my Savior and Lord. Please come into my life.”

If you prayed this prayer, Congratulations!

What’s next?
Start talking to God in prayer. Begin reading the Bible—try Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John to learn about Jesus’s life and miracles. I also suggest a devotional like Jesus Calling by Sarah Young.

Find a local church to help you grow in faith and understanding.

I’d love to hear from you if you made this decision; send me a message so I can pray for you.

Remember, Christ’s love is endless—wide, deep, and high beyond measure!

I’m happy to share my story anytime. Contact me if you want to hear more or invite me to speak.
